Harley Davidson Niagara Falls Event -- Plan on being here!

Harley DavidsonNiagara Falls will benefit from the upcoming rally for Harley-Davidson motorcycle owners which could pump more than $3 million into the local economy of the City of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area this summer.

The organizers are expecting as many of 4,500 people at the 20th anniversary rally July 10-12.  1,000 HOG members have pre-registered for the rally.  Nothing comes in for less than $100 when buying Harley-Davidson products. It's expensive. You get a different class of rider. The rally is a strictly HOG-member only event and is not intended to involve the "outlaw" element that is often acquainted with biker crowd. It is interesting to note that the average Harley-Davidson owner in America today is over 40 and earning in excess of $70,000 per year.Niagara Falls

The event will start at Seneca Niagara Casino and will include a variety of activities, including a parade through the city and a series of self-guided rides that will take HOG members over the roads of Niagara County to visit various attractions, scenic spots, shops and restaurants.

HOG is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 in the home of Harley-Davidson, Milwaukee, Wisc. Local chapters have since been started in other states across the country and in Canada. All chapters originate from a dealership and all members must own Harley-Davidson motorcycles.  The Niagara Falls Chapter is based out of American Harley Davidson on Erie Avenue in North Tonawanda. He said the local chapter supports several area charities, including K9 Helpers, Wyndham Lawn Home and food banks in Niagara County.

We have the "Blessing of the bikes" in Northern Michigan every year and it is a big event with lots of Bikers.

Colleen - well I am not a Harley fan, but what a neat event, and such a terrific venue. Fans of Harleys are a pretty amazing group. Should be fun. Now are you getting out YOUR Harley and leather jacket?

Colleen, this is great for Niagra Falls. reminds me of Daytona Beach. I went to cllege there in the 80's, each Feb there's was bike week. wall-to-wall motorcycles of every kind all over the place.
